Hi I’m Jo. I’m a serial seasonal baker.
Well, I love to bake any time of the year to be honest, but during the holidays? Fagettaboudit.

From sugar cookies for Santa, to my favorite “everything cookies”, to banana bread, brittle, and fudges (I know, that’s not technically “baking” but you get the jist), we Richardson girls (and sometimes even the husband unit) have the best time baking up a storm this time of year. Add in some festive music and (just a tad) crazy kitchen time dance routines (no video footage, sorry, not sorry) and you’ve got yourself a visual of our home all throughout December.
We are always on the look out to try new things too – like the tiramisu my husband and I “whipped” up last year for a dessert contest he entered us into (if you’ve ever made tiramisu you know why I used the air quotes there and if you haven’t, I highly recommend it, it’s so much fun) – it won us 2nd place by the way… not that we like to brag (I’m joking, we’re super proud of that damn dessert).
