Most weddings might be joyous occasions, but Hamish’s older brother is marrying…a commoner. Never mind that he’s engaged to an earl’s daughter, and they’ll lose their family’s estate if he marries someone else. Hamish will just have to find a way to stop the wedding.

Georgiana Butterworth is startled when a handsome Scot breaks into her bedroom and brandishes money. Evidently he’s mistaken her for her newly engaged sister and is trying to bribe her into not marrying his brother. Georgiana knows one thing: she won’t permit this man to ruin her sister’s chance for everlasting happiness.

Hamish may be determined to stop the wedding, but Georgiana is intent to make certain the wedding happens, no matter what she has to do to distract him.

I received Don't Tie the Knot for free. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Bianca Blythe is back with a new series that takes place in the same world as her Matchmaking for Wallflowers series.

Hamish knows an invite to his twin brother’s wedding is a mistake. When Hamish and his older twin brother, Callum, parents passed away, they fell under the guardianship of their nearest neighbor. The Earl paid off the mortgage of the brother’s ducal estate in exchange for his daughter hand in marriage to Callum. So, Callum can’t possibly be marrying a vicar’s daughter. Can he?

Georgiana Butterworth is taken by surprise when Hamish breaks into her room thinking she is her younger sister. While Hamish tries to bribe her to leave his brother and take his money, Georgiana is thinking up a plan of her own to save the couple.

Blythe takes us on an adventure from London to the Scottish highlands. While Hamish and Georgiana travel catch the fleeing couple, they fight with fire and dream of desire. The couple that no one ever would imagine coming together, becomes the perfect match.

Don’t Tie the Knot is a fast paced, intriguing road to romance. A wonderful start to this new series that can go in so many directions. I excited for more from Bianca Blythe!

About Bianca Blythe

Born in Texas, Wellesley graduate Bianca Blythe spent four years in England. She worked in a fifteenth century castle, though sadly that didn’t actually involve spotting dukes and earls strutting about in Hessians.

She credits British weather for forcing her into a library, where she discovered her first Julia Quinn novel. Thank goodness for blustery downpours.

Bianca now lives in Massachusetts with her boyfriend, though she will admit to craving warm scones and clotted cream. She’s not certain she can admit to reading about handsome, roguish dukes, at least in a location where her boyfriend might stumble upon the fact.

But if any readers are stumbling upon this, rest assured that she does write about rather swoon worthy heroes!
